プロダクトエンジニアリング責任者/ Head of Engineering, Product Engineering

A global company is currently looking for a Head of Engineering, Product Engineering.

　　Location：Fukuoka

　　Overtime Hours：Less than 15 hours per month

　　Salary： Up to 15mil

　　Working days：Monday to Friday

　　Working Hours：9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (8 hours actual working hours/ 60-minute break)

　　Holidays：Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays

　　Hiring company：Global company (グローバル企業)

　　Type of employment：Temp to Perm *Within 6 months, you will be perm*

　　Remote Work：3 times a week

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day product engineering execution for a small, high-caliber team
• Stay hands-on with architecture, implementation planning, code review, debugging, and release readiness
• Improve engineering speed, review cadence, release quality, and technical ownership
• Translate product priorities from the CEO/Founder and product team into clear engineering work
• Make pragmatic architecture decisions that balance speed, quality, and future flexibility
• Introducing AI-assisted engineering practices that improve team throughput
• Mentor engineers and raise the team’s technical standards without slowing delivery
• Partner with senior technical leaders on reliability, security, and long-term system health
  

Requirements:

• Business-level English
• Experience leading engineers in a product environment
• Strong hands-on engineering ability
• Comfortable working in multicultural teams
• Interested in building global products from Japan
• **Japanese is not required for this position**
