Golangエンジニア/ Golang Engineer

A leading eCommerce company is looking for a Golang Engineer. The selected candidate will lead the architecture and development of a scalable load balancer platform, drive technical decisions, automate operations, and develop web APIs to support platform functionality. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop a highly scalable load balancer platform to ensure reliable traffic routing across global data centres
• Provide technical leadership and define architectural standards for the load balancer control plane
• Identify and automate operational workflows to enhance efficiency and minimise manual intervention
• Design, develop, and maintain robust web APIs that support platform services and integrations

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in Go (Golang) API development
• Experience working in collaborative team environments
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting, including DNS and TCP/UDP
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and Redis

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with automation tools such as Chef and Ansible
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and ELK
• Knowledge of networking protocols and systems including BGP, HTTP, TLS, and DNS
• Team leadership experience
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience with additional programming languages such as Python or Ruby
