AIエンジニア/ AI Engineer

An international technology and data analytics company is seeking an AI Engineer – GenAI & Agentic AI Platform. The selected candidate will design and deploy GenAI and Agentic AI systems, develop data platforms and pipelines, lead technical workshops, support client engagement, and drive successful AI solution delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy GenAI solutions including RAG pipelines, LLM-powered workflows, and enterprise AI assistants across Microsoft Copilot Studio, ChatGPT Enterprise, and AWS Bedrock
• Build Agentic AI systems using multi-agent frameworks to enable autonomous reasoning, tool use, memory, and multi-step planning
• Develop and maintain medallion architecture on Databricks and Delta Lake for structured and unstructured data
• Implement Informatica IDMC pipelines for data ingestion, data quality, MDM, and data lineage
• Build semantic retrieval and vector search layers to support intelligent agent capabilities
• Define and enforce data governance, cataloguing, and lineage standards
• Champion responsible AI practices including agent safety, guardrails, model observability, and prompt governance
• Serve as the day-to-day technical point of contact for client stakeholders
• Lead solution design workshops, sprint reviews, and architecture walkthroughs
• Run iterative delivery cycles with client data and IT teams
• Identify and communicate project risks, dependencies, and scope changes
• Support onboarding and enablement of client teams through technical sessions and demonstrations
• Collaborate with offshore delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data engineering, or applied AI
• More than 2 years of experience in GenAI or LLM-based production systems
• Hands-on experience with at least two of Microsoft Copilot Studio, ChatGPT Enterprise/OpenAI API, and AWS Bedrock
• Experience designing Agentic AI systems including multi-agent orchestration, tool-use patterns, memory management, and planning frameworks
• Deep proficiency with Databricks, Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalogue, and medallion architecture
• Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC including CDI, CAI, data quality, MDM, or data lineage workflows
• Strong Python skills
• Proficiency with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration frameworks
• Experience processing unstructured data including document parsing, NLP pipelines, OCR, or embedding generation
• Ability to lead workshops and explain technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Native level Japanese (JLPT N2+); professional level English

Preferred requirements:

• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical functions including commercial operations, R&D, sales force analytics, or medical affairs
• Experience with pharmaceutical data platforms
• Familiarity with Copilot Studio governance, Power Automate flows, and Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility
• Experience working in an embedded onsite client delivery model within a Japanese enterprise or multinational pharmaceutical environment
• Possess a valid AWS ML Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer, or Databricks certification
