サポートエンジニア/ Support Engineer

A global telecommunications group is looking for a Support Engineer - Regional Customer Support. The selected candidate will provide end-user technical support, manage service requests, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure customer issues are resolved effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Provide end-user support through phone, email, and remote management channels
• Log, qualify, and document incidents and requests in the ticketing system
• Diagnose first-level technical issues and apply standard solutions when possible
• Escalate complex or non-standard issues to second-line specialists
• Update customers regularly on ticket status until resolution or root cause identification
• Support customer visits and weekend shift rotations as part of the regional support team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, electronics, information management, or equivalent
• Experience in IT or telecommunications helpdesk/service environments
• Understanding of operational procedures and operational level agreements
• Familiarity with telecommunication networks and IT terminology
• Fluent level written and spoken English and Japanese (JLPT N1)

Preferred requirements:

• Knowledge with VSAT, satellite communication systems
