An international securities firm is seeking a Custody Operations professional. The successful candidate will manage custody and settlement activities, supporting transaction processing, asset servicing, and investment operations across global markets.

Responsibilities:

• Manage custody operations including transaction settlement, safekeeping, asset servicing, and investment reporting
• Support issuer and investor services operations across multiple markets
• Coordinate cash and securities activities to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and financial institutions on settlement and middle office activities
• Provide operational support for equity and fixed income products
• Ensure accurate administration and reporting of client investments
• Support global custody services through coordination with local and international teams

Requirements:

• Experience in settlement or middle office operations within a financial institution
• Experience working with equity and fixed income products
• Understanding of settlement processes and middle office functions for equity and fixed income products
• Experience interacting with settlement teams, middle office, clients, and financial institutions
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent activities in a high-risk environment
• Ability to drive process improvement and efficiency gains with a commercial mindset
• Professional level Japanese and English
