M&A

A renowned digital commerce company is looking for an M&A professional. The selected candidate will lead end-to-end M&A initiatives, drive strategic investments, and build scalable processes across the organisation. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead M&A projects as PM and transition into a leadership role
• Plan and prioritise M&A strategies with executives
• Design KPIs and oversee hiring, development, and evaluation
• Drive investment committee decisions and cross-functional collaboration
• Execute full deal lifecycle from sourcing to post-merger integration
• Manage portfolio performance and strengthen M&A processes and branding

Requirements:

• Experience in M&A (FA, brokerage, or in-house)
• Prior end-to-end experience from strategy to PMI
• Proven experience leading stakeholders (executives, shareholders, advisors)
• Background in building and developing teams
• Professional level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in M&A strategy and portfolio design
• Prior experience in corporate development, VC / CVC, or investment roles
• Proven PMI leadership
• Excellent accounting, finance, and valuation skills
• Knowledge of eCommerce or brand business
