フィールドサービスエンジニア/ Field Service Engineer

A global technology company is looking for a Field Service Engineer. The selected candidate will install, maintain, and troubleshoot thin-film coating equipment while providing on-site technical support to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and upgrade thin-film coating equipment at customer sites
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs to restore operations
• Monitor system performance and implement measures to improve uptime and efficiency
• Provide technical guidance and on-site support to customers
• Coordinate with global technical teams to resolve complex equipment problems
• Prepare service documentation, support on-call rotations, and assist global teams when required

Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent in engineering
• More than 3 years of experience in the field of vacuum coating equipment & technology (PVD, PECVD, PEALD or Etch is a plus)
• Understanding of electronics, pneumatics, robotics, vacuum processes, and relevant software
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in written and spoken in English and Japanese
