営業マネージャー/ Sales Manager
A global automotive technology company is looking for a Sales Manager. The selected candidate will lead relationships with Japanese OEMs, drive business growth strategies, manage global quotations, and support cross-functional collaboration to strengthen automotive partnerships. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage overall business activities with all Japanese OEMs
- Guide and lead customer relationship management for the key account management team while maintaining high-level relationships with customer decision-makers
- Engage and facilitate open and equal discussions regarding business prospects with Japanese OEM and Tier 1 leaders
- Manage and coordinate quotations related to Japanese-affiliated global business and liaise with key contacts at customer headquarters
- Develop and execute strategies to drive Japanese business growth across different regions
- Transform customer feedback into creative approaches that generate business opportunities
- Collect, validate, and share relevant market information related to Japanese-affiliated companies and their markets
- Manage issues and support project resolution alongside the team
- Establish and maintain regular communication with internal functions across different regions
- Lead crisis and problem management activities related to Japanese projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- More than 10 years of experience in general industry, including automotive, working with or managing Japanese large-company customers on international projects
- Experience working with highly technical products or advanced materials for technical products
- Strong relationship management experience with long-term customer engagement
- Proficient in Japanese and English
Preferred requirements:
- Understanding of automotive brake system products
- Executive-level contacts within Japanese OEMs
