A global banking organisation is looking for a Treasury professional (Funding and Liquidity Risk Management). The selected candidate will manage branch liquidity, market risk, ALM reporting, middle office controls, and KYC support across treasury operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage branch liquidity and funding needs within approved treasury limits
• Monitor market risk, FX exposure, sensitivity limits, and regulatory liquidity ratios
• Coordinate with back office and internal teams on funding, cost of funds, and FX rates
• Prepare treasury reports for internal teams, head office, management, and regulators
• Lead quarterly ALM Committee meetings with branch and head office stakeholders
• Validate RMS entries, credit line usage, KYC review dates, and supporting documents

Requirements:

• Experience in funding operations (mostly money market transactions)
• Prior experience in liquidity risk management
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in reading and written English

Preferred requirements:

• More than 5 years of funding experience at a small foreign bank
• Background in middle office and KYC
• Skilled in analysing balance sheets (Assets and Liabilities)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Understanding of Foreign Exchange Law and economic sanctions
• Excellent PC skills
