財務・戦略マネージャー/ Finance & Strategy Manager

A global specialised collectables company is seeking a Finance & Strategy Manager. The selected candidate will drive strategic financial analysis, business planning, forecasting, and cross-functional decision-making to support long-term business growth. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Drive strategic decision-making through rigorous financial and business analysis
• Evaluate strategic investments, pricing, capacity expansion, and new business opportunities
• Lead financial modelling, scenario planning, and business case development initiatives
• Challenge business assumptions and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
• Influence cross-functional leaders through financial insights and business partnerships
• Build executive-ready presentations and financial narratives for business reviews and strategic discussions
• Own the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly business performance reviews
• Lead long-range planning and strategic forecasting processes
• Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations and support execution through business partners
• Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective planning processes
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and capital allocation
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from business case development through execution and post-implementation review

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and long-range planning
• Strong financial modelling skills, including scenario analysis, investment evaluation, and business case development
• Advanced MS Excel, financial modelling, data analysis, and business reporting skills
• Deep understanding of financial statements and financial performance analysis
• Experience developing executive dashboards, KPIs, and business performance reporting
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and JGAAP
• Understanding of core financial management processes and business operations
• Experience in highly analytical environments such as investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic FP&A, or similar disciplines
• Experience partnering with senior executives
• Ability to effectively leverage AI tools
• Interest in collectibles
• Native level Japanese; business level English
