会計・財務シニアアナリスト/ Senior Analyst - Accounting & Finance

A multinational medical technology company is looking for a Senior Analyst - Accounting & Finance. The selected candidate will support accounting operations, payroll accounting, tax reporting, reconciliations, SOX documentation, and finance-related projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Support payment processes including purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports in collaboration with the Kuala Lumpur BSG team
• Record and manage management accruals
• Process payroll-related accounting including monthly payroll, fringe benefits, pension, vacation accruals, and bonuses in coordination with HR
• Monitor and maintain supplier master data
• Manage My Number information for withholding tax reporting for Health Care Professionals
• Respond to employee enquiries regarding purchase orders and expense reports
• Manage prepaid accounts
• Perform monthly reconciliations
• Record statutory adjustments and monitor tax adjustments
• Collaborate with external tax consultants on corporate income tax returns and VAT returns
• Update SOX documentation
• Lead or participate in ongoing and ad-hoc global and local projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance or accounting
• More than 3 years of experience in accounting within a global company and/or public accounting firm
• Experience in payroll accounting, tax reporting, reconciliations, and SOX documentation
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP packages including SAP, Oracle, and JDE
• Ability to utilise independent judgement in establishing the accuracy and reasonableness of information
• Ability to work cordially with people of different backgrounds in the organisation
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess a valid CPA qualification in Japan or the US
