CFO of China

A leading technology company is looking for a CFO. The chosen candidate will lead the finance and accounting function of the Chinese subsidiary while supporting the launch and expansion of the company's overseas EC business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance and accounting function as CFO or Head of Finance and Accounting for the Chinese subsidiary
• Build and establish the finance and accounting processes for the Chinese subsidiary
• Develop and strengthen governance for finance and accounting operations
• Oversee management accounting, including budget versus actual (B/A) performance management
• Support the expansion of the company's overseas EC business
• Collaborate with the headquarters' Commerce Accounting Department to align financial strategies and operations
• Contribute to the leadership and development of the broader finance and accounting organisation supporting the EC business

Requirements:

• Experience in business operations within China
• Experience in financial accounting, including preparation and management of monthly and quarterly financial results
• Experience in finance and accounting at listed companies
• Familiarity with local business practices and regulatory environments
• Knowledge of IFRS or tax regulations
• Subject matter experts in accounting and tax
• Professionals with a background in consulting
• Professional level Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Deep expertise in the Chinese e-commerce market
• Proven experience in managing a team of 10+ employees
• Business level Chinese (Mandarin)
