財務コントローラー/ Financial Controller

An international security company is looking for a Financial Controller. The selected candidate will oversee regional finance operations, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and strategic business partnering across assigned entities. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial management across accounting, regulatory reporting, budgeting, and business planning
• Oversee billing, AR/AP, general ledger, and cash flow operations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including closing activities
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support business decisions
• Partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to improve financial performance
• Strengthen compliance, internal controls, audit coordination, process improvements, and team development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 7-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with accounting expertise
• Background in accounting and analysis
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Advanced MS Excel skills)
• Skilled in ERP
• Professional level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in a regional context
