アソシエイトリーガルカウンセル/ Associate Legal Counsel

A global hospitality company is looking for an Associate Legal Counsel. The selected candidate will provide practical legal guidance across business functions while balancing legal risk with commercial priorities. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with fast-paced business teams as a trusted legal advisor
• Provide practical legal advice to business development, public policy, marketing, and communications teams
• Advise on regulatory, consumer protection, competition, and marketing matters
• Support legal matters related to employment, privacy, disputes, and law enforcement
• Assess legal risks and recommend commercially sound mitigation strategies
• Balance legal compliance with business priorities in a dynamic environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 2-5 years post-qualification experience (In-house, including secondment from a law firm, in an MNC and/or start-up is ideal)
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Possess valid bengoshi qualification in Japan
• Native level written and verbal Japanese; business level written and verbal English (TOEIC/TOEFL is ideal)
