アカウントエグゼクティブ/ Account Executive
A foreign enterprise software company is searching for an Account Executive. The selected applicant will drive new business and revenue through reseller partners in Japan while working with senior management to support overall growth. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Sell renewals and upsells to the current account base using proven sales methodology or MEDDPICC/MEDDIC
- Understand prospects’ and customers’ critical business issues and strategic initiatives and link solutions to support achievement in these areas
- Sell professional services with Client Partner to the current account base to drive solution adoption
- Manage execution of the sales process and leverage appropriate resources to renew or upsell license subscription bookings
- Provide accurate sales forecasts based on realistic close timelines
- Communicate product improvements and recommendations originating from the field
- Utilise sales force automation tool to track all opportunities and prospect/customer-related information
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience in Account Management/selling strategic, enterprise-level
mission-critical solutions (SCM, ERP, BI) - Experience working in different JAPAN markets and geographies
- Experience and ability to penetrate and sell to executive-level decision makers
- Client-focused Account Management/Customer Success background
- Demonstrated track record of working with large, complex accounts
- Consultative, value-proposition/business case-driven sales methodology experience
- Ability to sell to multiple constituencies within an organisation (Manufacturing Operations, Demand Management, Finance, IT)
- Native level Japanese; business level English (another language is a plus)

- Experience working within a global-based operational company
