シニアセールスマネージャー/ Senior Sales Manager
An international food and protein company is seeking a Senior Sales Manager. The selected candidate will execute the commercial strategy, expand key accounts, acquire new customers, lead new product development initiatives, and improve overall business profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and strengthen relationships with strategic clients
- Identify growth opportunities across volume, product mix, and margins
- Design and execute commercial plans to expand existing accounts
- Identify, approach, and develop new customers in the Japanese market
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure conversion of opportunities
- Position the company as a long-term strategic partner
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify market needs
- Lead product development initiatives that create differentiation and added value
- Coordinate with supply chain, production plants, and marketing teams to ensure successful execution
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving margins and commercial efficiency
- Analyse pricing, product mix, and commercial conditions
- Ensure alignment between volume growth and profitability
- Plan and execute trade marketing initiatives in collaboration with external agencies
- Develop in-store activities to increase product visibility and sales
- Travel within Japan to visit clients and prospects
- Organise and accompany key clients on business trips to Chile to visit production facilities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in food/protein or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of the Japanese market and its commercial dynamics
- Experience managing key accounts and developing new business
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Proficient in Japanese and English
