人事マネージャー/ HR Manager
A global food manufacturing company is looking for a Human Resources Manager. The selected candidate will lead HR operations, support business transformation, drive employee engagement, oversee talent processes, and ensure compliance with employment regulations. This is a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to develop HR solutions and support business strategies
- Lead change management and business transformation initiatives with regional HR teams
- Drive employee engagement and strengthen workplace culture
- Support global and regional HR initiatives including HRIS implementation, talent reviews, organisational development, and diversity and inclusion programmes
- Manage recruitment, compensation and benefits, payroll oversight, learning and development, and employee relations activities
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including exit interviews and attrition analysis
- Prepare monthly HR and headcount reports for regional HR teams
- Coordinate and conduct HR training programmes and procedures
- Liaise with external training providers and manage annual training plans
- Collect and analyse salary market data to maintain market competitiveness
- Ensure compliance with labour regulations, government reporting requirements, and audit responses
- Coordinate work permits and employment matters for foreign employees with local authorities
- Advise management on employee relations matters
- Investigate workplace accidents and coordinate insurance claims
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources or Business Management
- More than 12 years of experience in human resources within a global manufacturing company
- Experience working in a complex, multicultural, highly matrixed international organisation
- Experience supporting a Japanese subsidiary of a foreign company with a local manufacturing site
- Ability to coach leadership teams on team alignment and collaboration
- Ability to coach senior management and position HR as a business enabler
- Ability and willingness to travel within Japan and occasionally within the region
- Professional level Japanese; proficient in English
