調達マネージャー/ Procurement Manager

An international manufacturing company is looking for a Procurement Manager. The selected candidate will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, strengthen supplier performance, drive procurement excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Build and strengthen a competitive supply base to support business growth, operational resilience, and long-term sourcing objectives
• Drive procurement process enhancements to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance across sourcing activities
• Manage supplier performance by monitoring productivity, quality, delivery, and risk management metrics
• Develop and execute long-term commodity and supplier strategies, with a focus on metal and stamping categories
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities in partnership with quality, engineering, operations, and finance teams
• Establish and develop a strategic procurement organisation to support both short-term and long-term business requirements
• Collaborate with regional and global procurement teams to leverage best practices and achieve enterprise sourcing goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
• More than 10 years of experience in procurement within the manufacturing industry
• More than 5 years of experience in procurement management roles within automotive or industrial manufacturing companies
• Team management experience overseeing approximately 15 members
• Robust sourcing and procurement experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to drive cost savings, supplier risk management, quality, and delivery performance
• Excellent people management, coaching, and team development capabilities
• Fluent English communication skills in written and spoken environments
• Business level Japanese; fluent level English

Preferred requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in procurement within the automotive industry
• STEM-related academic background
• Experience working for competitor organisations
