調達マネージャー/ Procurement Manager

A hospitality company is looking for a Procurement Manager. The selected candidate will lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement operations, inventory control, contract negotiations, and process improvements while ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and suppliers to secure the best deals and maintain quality in supplies
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring contracts align with company policies and legal requirements
• Oversee and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions
• Ensure all purchased products and services meet required quality standards and specifications
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Monitor inventory levels and develop efficient inventory management systems to avoid overstocking or shortages
• Ensure procurement practices adhere to legal standards and ethical sourcing principles
• Stay informed about market trends and product innovations to support purchasing decisions
• Collaborate with various departments to understand procurement needs and provide support
• Champion and implement sustainable purchasing practices aligned with environmental objectives
• Assess and improve procurement processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in purchasing, operations, or project management
• Well-versed in purchasing processes
• Knowledge of SAP
• Strong data analysis skills
• Proficient level English; professional level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in establishing procurement frameworks and policy
