A leading financial institution is looking for a Procurement and Contract Management Manager for Financial Data Services. The selected candidate will lead the procurement, contract management, and usage monitoring of financial data services and software licences. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement, contract management, and usage monitoring of financial data services and software licences
• Plan, formulate, and execute company-level procurement and contract strategies
• Pursue optimal contract terms and licensing models based on analysis of cost structures and usage patterns
• Analyse financial data usage in collaboration with market departments and other divisions
• Propose and promote improvement measures focused on cost reduction and value maximisation
• Manage risks related to the appropriate use of information assets and compliance
• Plan, draft, and revise operational rules for financial data services and other information assets
• Continuously improve management rules and processes through streamlining, standardisation, and visualisation
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to promote operational awareness and adoption
• Build effective relationships with suppliers and conduct regular business reviews
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives with vendor partners

Requirements:

• Experience in procurement, contracting, and usage management of information assets such as financial data services and software licences
• Experience in developing and improving management rules and systems
• Experience in discussions and negotiations with domestic and international contractors and potential suppliers
• Experience coordinating and negotiating with internal departments and vendor partners
• Team management experience, including managing and developing team members
• Business level Japanese; conversational level English

Preferred requirements:

• Practical experience at a financial institution or financial data vendor
