流通マネージャー/ Distribution Manager

A multinational premium athletic apparel company is looking for a Distribution Manager. The selected candidate will oversee third-party logistics operations, manage outbound distribution, optimise distribution centre performance, and support the strategic development of the distribution network. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor transportation flow of retail orders from distribution centres to stores
• Coordinate with courier vendors and GECs to meet e-commerce service level agreements
• Monitor distribution centre shipping schedules and transit times
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve logistics performance
• Support retail operations, new store openings, transfers, returns, and logistics projects
• Manage logistics arrangements for store pullbacks and e-commerce returns
• Audit and submit logistics vendor invoices
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly performance meetings with logistics partners
• Manage outbound logistics operations and distribution centre activities
• Monitor logistics KPIs and ensure service level agreement compliance
• Develop best practices with logistics partners to improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Lead, develop, and motivate the logistics team
• Prepare annual distribution centre operating budgets and forecasts
• Ensure inventory accuracy across physical and system records
• Identify operational risks, implement contingency plans, and ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
• More than 5 years of experience in self-managed or third-party logistics distribution centre operations supporting both offline and online order fulfilment
• Deep market intelligence and knowledge of LEAN thinking concepts and implementation
• Solid understanding of enterprise management systems, particularly RMS
• Strong IT skills, including MS Office Suite, WMS software applications, and retail systems
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Apparel retail distribution and logistics experience
• Experience leading a team
