流通・輸送スペシャリスト/ Distribution & Transportation Specialist

An international filtration and automotive technology company is looking for a Distribution & Transportation Specialist. The selected candidate will oversee distribution and transportation operations, optimise logistics performance, manage 3PL providers, and drive operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with global supply chain standards. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Execute distribution and transportation strategy aligned with global supply chain goals
• Drive performance across Distribution Centres and optimise the local distribution network
• Improve transportation efficiency through process optimisation, cost control, and service enhancements
• Monitor KPIs including on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and lead times
• Ensure compliance with QHSE standards across all operations
• Maintain effective communication and alignment across the organisation
• Build strong relationships with external partners to ensure reliable service and competitive pricing
• Conduct monthly and quarterly vendor performance reviews to ensure compliance with agreed KPIs and service levels
• Develop and manage the distribution and transportation budget in collaboration with regional and global stakeholders
• Drive distribution strategy execution, SQDC implementation, and 3PL provider management
• Provide subject matter expertise for new 3PL RFQs
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects, including lead time, cost, freight, and duty analysis
• Manage and optimise inbound and outbound transportation operations
• Analyse and report financial performance to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Assess financial risks associated with logistics and transportation operations and support mitigation activities
• Ensure compliance with international transportation, customs, and trade regulations
• Promote ethical practices and corporate social responsibility within operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering with a Logistics focus
• 3-5 years of experience in distribution logistics
• 1-2 years of experience in transportation coordination and optimisation
• Experience in automotive manufacturing
• Experience with e-commerce implementation
• Experience managing multiple projects, including 3PL changes and 4PL
• SAP Key User experience, particularly with QM and MM modules, including customisation
• Proven experience driving operational performance improvements
• Proactive approach with willingness to learn and stay updated with market trends
• Professional level Japanese and English
