カスタマーサービス/ Customer Service

A global provider of advanced photonic technologies is looking for a Customer Service professional. The selected candidate will manage end-to-end order processing, coordinate logistics and intercompany transactions, support SAP operations, and ensure excellent customer service through effective cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process quotations, sales orders, and invoices using SAP
• Manage sales transactions and order data within the ERP system
• Maintain accurate sales records and support revenue recognition processes
• Issue intercompany purchase orders and monitor transaction progress
• Coordinate delivery schedules and product-related enquiries with overseas affiliates
• Communicate with shipping agents regarding flight schedules and import customs clearance
• Coordinate goods receipt and outbound deliveries with external warehouse providers
• Manage delivery schedules for purchase and sales orders
• Respond to customer enquiries related to orders, deliveries, and invoices via phone, email, and ERP systems
• Communicate with overseas customers in English
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives on order processing and delivery scheduling
• Check payment notifications and reconcile warehouse data with intercompany billing records
• Handle WebEDI operations as required
• Support annual inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in customer service / purchasing operation
• Knowledge of overseas trading, including import and export operations
• Experience in sales administration covering quotation, order processing, delivery, and billing
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word
• Native level Japanese; business level English (TOEIC 700+)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with SAP
• Experience in purchasing
