財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A global robotics and AI technology company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee finance and accounting operations, manage financial reporting and compliance activities, support administrative functions, and collaborate closely with regional and global teams to drive operational efficiency and business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and month-end closing
• Operate and manage Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accounting records
• Process invoices and manage payments to vendors and employees
• Execute monthly and annual closing activities and prepare financial reports for Group Finance
• Manage expense reimbursements and fixed asset accounting
• Handle tax filings, statutory reporting, and audit support
• Ensure compliance with Japanese GAAP, tax regulations, and IFRS
• Strengthen financial processes and internal control frameworks
• Support implementation of accounting systems and ERP solutions
• Drive operational efficiency improvements
• Support budgeting, cost control, and performance management activities
• Provide financial and administrative support for customer orders, vendor management, and operational requests
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Manage office administration and office supplies
• Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and special projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 5-8 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Experience with IFRS reporting
• Proficient in Japanese GAAP, tax, and payroll processes
• Skilled in Excel and accounting systems such as Xero, NetSuite, Business Central, or local ERP tools
• Fluent level Japanese; conversational level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing, robotics, or engineering sectors
• Possess a valid CPA or JP bookkeeping level 2 or higher certification
