オペレーションズディレクター/ Operations Director

A global footwear and lifestyle company is seeking an Operations Director. The selected candidate will oversee customer service, supply chain management, demand planning, inventory management, logistics operations, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting regional and global operational objectives. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Create a Business Planning Calendar to align stakeholders with clear accountabilities and timelines
• Drive a cohesive and effective approach to seasonal business planning activities
• Oversee business-critical paths and mitigate risks to plan achievement
• Define expectations and implement policies aligned with market strategy
• Provide comprehensive customer service and operations support for inventory purchases, order management, shipping, and query resolution
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, sales operations, and finance teams to resolve complex order issues and improve workflows
• Ensure team objectives remain aligned with business goals
• Drive consistency of service, execution, and teamwork across operations functions
• Design, develop, and implement marketplace planning, demand planning, and inventory management processes
• Deliver analytics and metrics to support business targets and profitability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• More than 10 years of experience in senior management or directorial operations leadership roles
• Experience in footwear, apparel, lifestyle, or fashion industry operations
• Experience in senior management roles within Asian or global organisations operating across regional and local structures
• Experience managing significant change management projects within complex international organisations
• Experience satisfying the needs of diverse stakeholders within global organisations
• Experience in sourcing, logistics, and planning
• Knowledge and passion for brands
• Ability to promote inclusive practices and healthy dialogue
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• MBA or advanced degree
• Possess a valid CPIM or CSCP certification
