MLアプリケーションエンジニア/ ML Application Engineer

A foreign software company is looking for an ML Application Engineer. The chosen candidate will be responsible for helping customers solve complex engineering challenges by applying AI and machine learning to product design and engineering workflows. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Run projects with customer engineering teams, analyse and process engineering data using the platform and Python libraries, and develop tailored solutions and workflows
• Apply machine learning and deep learning workflows to engineering and physics problems, and deliver proof-of-concept projects demonstrating value in CAD, CAE, and manufacturing
• Train customer teams to effectively use the platform and methods, ensuring smooth AI adoption into their workflows
• Work closely with developers to translate customer needs and feedback into product improvements

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or above in engineering, applied mathematics, or physics
• Excellent understanding of both Engineering and Machine Learning
• Strong experience with Python programming
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks and libraries
• Experience with simulation
• Excellent communication skills
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English

Preferred Requirements:

• Industry experience in CAD / CAE (CFD, FEM, etc.) modelling
