ビジネスコンサルタント/ Business Consultant

A global IP management solutions company is looking for a Business Consultant. The chosen candidate will support the implementation of an intellectual property management platform, optimise client workflows, and deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Engage directly with clients to analyse IP management workflows, identify pain points, and define requirements for system implementation
• Provide strategic guidance on optimising and standardising IP processes, including patent and trademark prosecution, docketing, annuities, and portfolio management using company platform
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Consultants to design, configure, and deliver solutions that meet client objectives on time and within scope
• Lead client training sessions and workshops to drive effective platform adoption and ensure users are confident and self-sufficient after go-live
• Develop and execute change management strategies to support smooth transitions from legacy systems
• Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configuration guides, process maps, and operational manuals
• Act as the voice of the customer by providing structured feedback to the Product Development team on feature enhancements and market-specific requirements
• Stay current with industry trends in intellectual property management, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to continuously improve consulting delivery

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience working in the Intellectual Property field (Patents or Trademarks)
• Hands-on experience using an IP management system in day-to-day operations (IP system implementation is a strong plus)
• Proficient in MS Office
• Documentation and technical writing skills
• Native level Japanese; business level English
