シニアネットワークエンジニア/ Senior Network Engineer

A multinational telecommunications and data centre services company is looking for a Senior Network Engineer. The selected candidate will manage optical network capacity, forecast demand, coordinate infrastructure expansion, and improve overall network efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor optical network capacity, performance trends, and potential bottlenecks
• Forecast network demand using historical data, utilisation trends, and sales pipelines
• Plan and initiate capacity expansions based on investment needs and delivery timelines
• Coordinate infrastructure, equipment, fibre, and licence delivery with internal teams and vendors
• Support capacity checks, feasibility assessments, and technical requirements during pre-sales and service delivery
• Track delivery plans, optimise unused capacity, and maintain performance dashboards and KPIs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics & Communication" Engineering
• Experience in DWDM/OTN technologies from Ciena, Nokia, Fujitsu, and ADTRAN
• Prio experience in network planning and design- Link Engineering, Simulation, HLD/LLD creation, BOM creation, design validation, and building job packs for field teams
• Proven experience in optical capacity management, utilisation analysis, forecasting, and proactive/reactive builds
• Knowledge of ROADM, photonic nodes, shelves, transponders, and mux/demux systems

Preferred requirements:

• Experience improving end‑to‑end capacity delivery processes, reducing lead times,
  defining SLAs, and standardising deployment guidelines
• Prior experience with network functional testing, benchmarking, failure reproduction, and issue validation
• Background in automation and digitalisation of planning processes, including AI‑driven forecasting and automated monitoring
• Understanding of designing customer‑specific optical solutions and bespoke delivery requirements
• Familiarity with SDN Orchestrator platforms such as for service provisioning over multivendor optical environments
