サイバーセキュリティオフィサー/ Cyber Security Officer

A global pharmaceutical company is seeking a Cyber Security Officer. The selected candidate will ensure alignment with global cybersecurity policies while managing local regulatory requirements, audits, and risk mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compliance with cybersecurity regulatory, legal, and industry standards
• Act as the single point of contact for Global Cyber Security initiatives and ensure local adoption
• Lead efforts to meet new and evolving cybersecurity laws and minimise business disruption
• Identify and mitigate local cybersecurity risks while maintaining business continuity
• Respond to partner inquiries and manage certifications to support business operations
• Oversee local cybersecurity audits, ensuring timely and complete responses
• Promote a global cybersecurity culture across the organisation
• Conduct leadership-level reviews to communicate risks and required actions
• Provide KPI-based reports on risk and compliance to leadership and stakeholders
• Support OT security operations at production sites

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of proven experience in cybersecurity and risk management
• Prior life science industry experience is ideal
• Proficient in change management, communication, ITIL, and network/server configuration
• Ability to tailor communication to various audiences and convey complex topics simply
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Possess a valid CISA or CISM certificate; project management or other security certifications is a plus
• Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N2+); proficient in English (TOEIC 800+)
