プリセールスエンジニア/ Presales Engineer
A global technology firm is looking for a Presales Engineer. The chosen applicant will drive technical sales by co-developing solution plans, engaging stakeholders, supporting account execution, and influencing product adoption and development.
Responsibilities:
- Jointly create, manage, and execute account plans with Account Executives
- Lead key technical initiatives and engage with technical stakeholders to create solution plans aligned with objectives
- Validate software, hardware, and services pricing and margins based on the scope of work
- Engage Professional Services after forming a clear solution plan
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities
- Communicate and report internally on opportunity status; plan using appropriate methods to develop profitable business and sustainable relationships
- Attend and present at customer meetings and internal sessions with other company functions, as necessary
- Influence buyers on new or improved product offerings and innovations within the industry
- Act as a technical advisor to customers and focus on upselling
- Use gathered intelligence to influence product development and internal process enhancements for sales growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or engineering is preferred
- More than 5 years of experience in pre-sales, customer-facing, or technical roles
- More than 3 years managing a team of pre-sales, product management, or sales professionals
- More than 3 years of experience in the retail or restaurant industry is a plus
- Experience working with large restaurant or food and beverage brands as a service, hardware, software provider, or consultant
- Customer-facing experience selling software, hardware, and services as part of an enterprise IT ecosystem
- Experience in pre-sales, product management, sales, or consulting in cloud, hybrid cloud, or virtualised workloads
- Ability and willingness to travel
