シニアアカウントエグゼクティブ/ Senior Account Executive
A foreign cloud platform provider is searching for a Senior Account Executive. The chosen candidate will lead sales efforts for edge cloud solutions in Japan’s Commerce and Finance sectors and manage the full enterprise sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and execute a comprehensive Go To Market plan to ensure continued growth within assigned verticals across the Japanese territory
- Drive pipeline generation, sales activities and revenue targets by building strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Lead all aspects of the enterprise sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to pricing negotiations, contract closure and account management
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to guide prospective customers through technical demos and trial periods
- Build technical understanding of edge computing solutions and communicate how they address customer challenges in security and DevOps
- Engage regularly with senior leadership at client organisations, including CTOs, CISOs, CIOs, CFOs and CEOs, to present tailored solutions
- Work cross-functionally with Client Services, Marketing, Product Management and Product Marketing to align regional strategies
- Support post-sales activities by maintaining long-term client relationships to drive renewals and identify new business opportunities
Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in new business development targeting senior leadership and C-level executives within security-focused enterprise sales environments
- Extensive experience selling into Commerce or Finance companies in Japan with a
proven ability to develop new customer relationships from the ground up - Deep network of contacts within SaaS, PaaS, Cloud Platform sectors—especially among large multi-divisional or multinational organisations operating in Japan
- Proven track record managing sophisticated enterprise sales cycles, including effective outbound prospecting techniques and accurate pipeline forecasting
- Technical proficiency in content delivery networks (CDN), security services, cloud-based platforms (SaaS/PaaS), web analytics, website performance optimisation, cloud storage solutions or managed web hosting services
- Prior experience working for US-based or internationally headquartered companies is
highly desirable - Native level written and verbal Japanese; business level English
