A renowned financial services company is searching for a Web Developer. The chosen candidate will design and develop new applications as well as perform R&D, ideation, and rapid POC development. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, document, and support new applications (web-based mainly and iOS)
• Perform R&D, ideation, and rapid POC development
• Work directly with end users across departments for project requirement gathering and design
• Back-end development with languages such as Java, Spring Boot, and Python
• Web application development with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Use SQL and design/work with databases such as MySQL
• Build and use containers and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Jenkins, etc.)

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of Web application development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
• More than 3 years of iOS app development experience with Swift
• Back-end development experience with languages such as Java, Spring Boot, and Python
• Ability to use SQL and design or work with databases such as MySQL
• Experience building and using containers and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Jenkins, etc.)
• Data science knowledge and experience
• Financial business or product knowledge
• Advanced business level written and verbal English and Japanese (JLPT N3+)
