Operations Director

A foreign pharmaceutical manufacturing company is looking for an Operations Director. The selected candidate will be responsible for guiding and supporting the operations team on the site.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out the performance process for team members under direct supervision
• Provide technical and operational guidance to team members, colleagues, and customers
• Offer general direction and support to on-site experts regarding workflows and procedures
• Capable of identifying site needs and shaping broad approaches to help meet them
• Adhere to company policies, quality systems, and regulatory standards
• Manage the production schedule and ensure on-time delivery of materials and shipments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life Sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, engineering, manufacturing operations, business
• 15 years of related pharmaceutical, CMO or CRO experience
• 10 years of managerial experience
• Prior clinical, contract, or production experience is a plus
• Understanding of clinical trial logistics, storage and distribution, and primary and secondary packaging and labelling
• Familiarity with development and regulatory processes
• Professional level English and Japanese
