ストラテジックテリトリーディレクター/ Strategic Territory Director
A global communications and security technology company is seeking a Strategic Territory Director. The selected candidate will lead sales strategy execution, drive revenue growth, manage key customer relationships, and oversee channel and partner development across Japan and Korea.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute regional sales strategy across Japan and Korea
- Manage the full sales lifecycle including lead generation, qualification, proposals, negotiation, and deal closure
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, resellers, and strategic stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with long-term growth objectives
- Track, analyse, and report key territory performance metrics and maintain CRM accuracy
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to support strategic positioning and opportunity development
- Monitor regional trends, threats, and competitor activities to inform leadership decisions
- Forecast demand based on procurement cycles and budget timelines
- Manage and prioritise sales channel partners across strategic, tactical, and opportunistic categories
- Identify, assess, and onboard new channel partners through due diligence
- Ensure partner readiness through product knowledge enablement and demonstration capability support
- Gather and relay customer and end-user feedback to inform product development
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer demonstrations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- More than 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Proven experience in military, defence, public safety, or complex procurement environments
- Experience selling MANET, wireless communications, or tactical radio technologies
- Military service background
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Native level Japanese; business level English
Preferred requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Engineering, Communications, or related field
- Understanding of MANET ecosystems, competitive landscape, and customer mission needs
- Knowledge of defence regulatory environments and government procurement processes
- Strong technical aptitude in tactical communications and RF networking
- Previous program management in high-performance sales environment
