QA アソシエイト マネージャー/ QA Associate Manager

A renowned food brands company is looking for a QA Associate Manager. The selected candidate will ensure product quality and food safety across all stages from development to retail.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality and safety of new products through specifications review, microbial results, and shelf-life evaluation
• Develop and implement QA processes across product pipeline including vendors, warehouses, and retail stores
• Conduct quality and safety audits for ingredient, product, and packaging suppliers
• Perform hygiene and safety audits for retail shops to maintain consumer product safety
• Collaborate with product, packaging, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and accurate labelling
• Investigate consumer complaints and execute corrective and preventive actions with documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in food science, food technology (medicine or biological science is ideal)
• More than 5 years of experience in food or beverage industrial company or retail as QA
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience
• Experience in international food manufacturing or a cross-cultural setting
• Prior experience in quality and food safety audit for a vendor is preferred
• Knowledge of industrial food processing
• Understanding of food laws and regulations
• Familiarity with QA systems and certification standards (ISO, BRC, HACCP, FSSC)
• Possess valid Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma certifications are ideal
• Business level written and spoken Japanese and English
