フィールドサービス技術者/ Field Service Technician

A global industrial machinery company is looking for a Field Service Technician. The selected candidate will install, commission, maintain, repair, and upgrade industrial machinery while providing technical support and training to customers through frequent domestic and overseas business travel.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, commissioning, and training of industrial machinery at customer sites
• Prepare reports on installations, training, and pending installation activities
• Act as the primary contact for customers during service interventions
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery
• Carry out machinery upgrades and technical updates
• Prepare reports on repairs and upgrades to support continuous improvement
• Manage installations, repairs, and upgrades in line with after-sales objectives
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while representing the company
• Follow established quality procedures and work instructions
• Provide suggestions to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Apply waste management and energy reduction procedures
• Comply with occupational health and safety requirements
• Use and maintain personal protective equipment correctly

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• More than 3 years of experience in an After-Sales Service Department for junior-level candidates
• More than 5 years of experience in an After-Sales Service Department for senior-level candidates
• More than 1 year of experience in the manufacturing sector for industrial machinery for junior-level candidates
• More than 3 years of experience in the manufacturing or maintenance sector for pharmaceutical machinery for senior-level candidates
• Experience in the installation, training, and repair of industrial machinery
• Ability to organise work independently and manage tasks autonomously
• Knowledge of quality procedures and occupational safety practices
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently domestically and internationally
• Native level Japanese; professional level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
