マテリアルリインベントプロダクトエンジニア/ Material Reinvent Product Engineer

A global healthcare solutions company is seeking a Material Reinvent Product Engineer. The selected candidate will lead material sourcing, reformulation, and qualification initiatives to enhance product performance and reliability. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with procurement to identify and qualify alternative material suppliers
• Collaborate with R&D to reformulate or redesign input materials for improved performance or quality
• Coordinate with cross-functional global teams to align on project goals
• Visit manufacturing sites to oversee qualifications and process changes
• Build strong relationships with third-party and internal manufacturing teams
• Manage and control confidential information through agreements and secure communication

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in science or engineering domain
• More than 3 years of experience developing, supporting, or maintaining commercialised products in a private, public, and government setting
• More than 3 years of experience in product or manufacturing in the medical device industry or healthcare QMS (ISO13485, GMP)
• More than 3 years of experience in medical device is ideal
• Experience in coating various materials onto substrates/backings
• Knowledge of change management is preferred
• Understanding of qualification procedures (process validation, design verification) is ideal
• Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English (TOEIC 730+)
