シニア電子エンジニア/ Senior Electronics Engineer

An international automotive technology supplier is looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer. The selected candidate will develop automotive electronic hardware, support product verification and production transfer, and resolve technical issues throughout the product lifecycle. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Design analog, digital, power supply, memory, and automotive communication circuits
• Develop electronic hardware for advanced automotive control products
• Prepare test specifications, technical documentation, and design reference materials
• Collaborate with software, systems, mechanical, and manufacturing teams on product optimisation
• Conduct design reviews, product verification, production readiness assessments, and manufacturing transfers
• Support mass production by analysing defects, improving quality, and resolving technical issues

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in the development of vehicles, in-vehicle ECUs, or automotive components
• More than 3 years of experience in hardware development and design for embedded products
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.)
• Skilled in reading 2D mechanical drawings
• Proficient in spoken Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Understanding of automotive standards such as Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity
• Knowledge of system design related to hardware design
• Familiarity with electronic components and printed circuit boards (PCBs)
