ファイナンスビジネスパートナー/ Finance Business Partner

A global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Finance Business Partner. The successful candidate will partner with business leaders to drive forecasting, financial planning, business analytics, and strategic decision-making to support profitability and sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and drive key financial processes, including outlook and long-term forecast planning, in collaboration with Therapeutic Areas, Finance, HR, Supply, and global stakeholders
• Coordinate financial process milestones with local and global stakeholders
• Challenge forecast assumptions to ensure objective and ambitious business planning
• Identify, quantify, and communicate financial risks and opportunities
• Analyse and challenge overall and Therapeutic Area profit and loss performance
• Support business performance through end-to-end financial analysis and business insights
• Establish key performance measures and indicators
• Prepare monthly financial reports and business performance analyses
• Conduct profitability analysis and resource planning
• Perform ad hoc business analytics to support strategic decision-making
• Build strong relationships with SP&EE, Therapeutic Areas, and CxE teams to ensure integrated financial analysis
• Optimise financial processes and promote alignment across functions
• Support improvements in forecasting, reporting, resource allocation, and business analytics capabilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of sales forecasting
• Good understanding or experience in sales forecasting, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry
• Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and environmental trends
• Good understanding of financial management and profit and loss analysis
• Knowledge of strategic frameworks, marketing, and execution
• Ability to interpret financial, scientific, clinical, and commercial information
• Knowledge of Japanese regulations, policies, and the healthcare system
• Leadership skills to develop and implement solutions to complex business problems
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of market research and budget and forecast planning
• Fluent level Japanese and English (CEFR B2)
