A global private investment company is looking for an Associate/Analyst. The selected candidate will evaluate investment opportunities and gain exposure to portfolio company issues. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Assess investment opportunities using strategic analysis and financial modelling
• Collaborate on identifying portfolio company challenges, including add-on investments and liquidity options
• Support improvements in core operations of portfolio companies
• Participate in a comprehensive training program on the company’s investment approach
• Analyse market trends and competitive landscapes to guide investment decisions
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations

Requirements:

• More than 2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or equivalent
• Strong business analytic and quantitative skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in Japanese and English
