税務アシスタントマネージャー/ Tax Assistant Manager

A Tax Assistant Manager role is now open in a multinational luxury fashion brand. The chosen applicant will be in charge of managing all tax-related matters for multiple brands and entities. This is a hybrid setup position.

Responsibilities:

• Organise closing and financial reporting including inventory and fixed asset management
• Prepare audit and tax filings
• Handle internal and external audit matters
• Ensure tax compliance such as TP documentation
• Establish processes according to tax requirements
• Perform monthly closing including financial reporting to Group headquarters
• Conduct intercompany reconciliation including inventory purchase

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business administration, economics, or finance & accounting
• More than 5 years of experience in a foreign company with International Accounting Standards practices
• Experience in a complex environment (multiple legal entities or multiple brands) preferred
• Understanding of IFRS or US GAAP
• Tax background or knowledge is preferred
• Japanese CPA or Tax Accountant is a plus
• Fluent level Japanese and English
