ファイナンスコントローリングマネージャー/ Finance Controlling Manager

A global biopharmaceutical company is looking for a Finance Controlling Manager. The selected candidate will lead accounting close activities, oversee tax filings and treasury operations, support system implementation, and collaborate with internal and global stakeholders to ensure financial compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly and yearly closing timelines and deliverables
• Prepare Japan Consumption Tax returns, Business Premise Tax returns, and Annual Statutory Reports
• Manage cash operations, primarily reimbursement activities
• Support SOX testing activities
• Support and standardise system development and implementation
• Communicate with Japan FP&A, internal departments, global tax and accounting teams, shared service centres, banks, and tax authorities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 7 years of experience in accounting, tax filing, and treasury management
• Professional experience with IFRS or US GAAP and J GAAP
• Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
• Bilingual level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in a foreign-affiliated pharmaceutical company
• Experience with Hyperion, Concur, COUPA, Blackline, and web banking systems
• Possess a valid CPA, Tax Accountant qualification, or MBA
