財務コントローラー/ Financial Controller

An international medical devices company is looking for a Financial Controller. The selected candidate will lead the finance team, oversee financial operations, and provide strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance team and support senior management with financial insights
• Oversee financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, tax, and audit compliance
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local financial regulations
• Drive annual budget planning in collaboration with local and global teams
• Analyse business performance and provide recommendations to align with company targets
• Contribute to transformation initiatives, business expansion, and company culture development
• Develop team members and plan for succession within the finance function
• Collaborate with the global finance team and participate in decision-making processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• More than 10 years of finance/accounting experience, including reporting, budgeting, tax, and audit at a multinational subsidiary
• More than 5 years of management experience in finance/accounting
• Proven experience in cost accounting is a plus
• Ability to drive change and continuous improvement
• Professional level Japanese; business level English
