財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

An international biotechnology company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial and accounting operations as the CFO’s right-hand person, with responsibility for accounting, closing, tax, budgeting, cost management, and operational improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve accounting processes
• Manage monthly and annual closing tasks
• Handle tax filing duties
• Manage budgets and conduct variance analysis
• Manage manufacturing cost calculation and control
• Propose operational improvements to on-site teams
• Coordinate with manufacturing contractors and prepare invoices
• Liaise with financial institutions
• Support a wide range of financial and accounting operations
• Contribute to financial management with a view towards progression from manager-level to director-level responsibilities

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of practical experience in the finance or accounting department of a business organisation
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing cost management
• Experience guiding subordinates in their work tasks
• Basic PC skills
• Ability to think and act from a managerial perspective
• Excellent coordination and teamwork abilities
• Proficient in English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in fundraising or negotiations with banks within a business organisation
• Experience developing and executing financial strategies
• Experience in finance, tax, or accounting roles at venture companies
• Background in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
