財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A renowned logistics company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, internal controls, cash flow, and finance team performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting operations, including GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and cash management
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, management reporting, statutory statements, and JP-GAAP compliance
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reviews to support management decisions
• Manage tax filings, statutory reporting, internal controls, audits, financial governance, and risk mitigation
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, collections, credit management, and payment processes
• Coordinate reporting and finance initiatives with regional and headquarters teams while coaching and developing finance team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related domain
• More than 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
• Experience handling monthly and annual closing processes independently
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Japanese tax regulations
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or multinational companies
• Prior experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Proven experience in people management
• Possess valid Nissho Bookkeeping Test (Level 2 or above) qualification
• Possess valid CPA, Tax Accountant qualification, or equivalent professional certification
