シニアファイナンスマネージャー/ Senior Finance Manager

An international advertising and communications company is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, International Operations for its Consolidated Accounting Team. The selected candidate will lead consolidated accounting operations, oversee reporting processes, support global collaboration, and manage cross-functional finance projects. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and reports, analyse financial data, and calculate financial indicators for quarterly and annual reporting
• Manage reporting deadlines and perform necessary corrections and adjustments for final outputs
• Collaborate with Finance teams and Internal Audit teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues
• Provide technical accounting analysis and support solutions for complex matters
• Support audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors during audit processes
• Manage audit progress and ensure smooth execution of audit-related activities
• Collaborate with overseas finance teams to improve reporting quality and operational efficiency
• Promote process improvements through new tools, systems, and workflow reviews
• Provide operational guidance and training to junior team members and accounting staff
• Guide team members on priorities, execution methods, and quality standards
• Lead internal projects, troubleshooting activities, and ad-hoc cross-functional tasks
• Support communication and collaboration with overseas stakeholders and departments

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of experience in accounting, audit, financial advisory, or related finance operations
• Understanding of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Experience preparing and interpreting consolidated financial statements
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, pivot charts, dashboards, and data visualisation
• Professional level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience using consolidation accounting systems
• Team leadership or mentorship experience
• Project management experience
• Experience studying or working abroad
• Possess valid accounting-related qualifications such as CPA, US CPA, UK ACCA, or equivalent
