シニア会計士/ Senior Accountant

A multinational food and nutrition company is seeking a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will manage accounting operations, prepare reports, and support audits and budgeting activities. This is a hybrid setup and fixed-term contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards
• Handle daily banking operations, including payment processing and reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain financial reports for management review
• Use SAP for transaction recording, reporting, and reconciliation
• Utilise Excel, including pivot tables, for data analysis and reporting
• Support the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis
• Assist in internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in general accounting or a similar role
• Hands-on experience using SAP
• Prior experience in financial reporting, audit support, and budgeting
• Experience in multinational companies is a plus
• Knowledge of general ledger processes and banking operations
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot table creation and data analysis
• Possess a valid accounting certification (CPA, Nissho Boki) is ideal
• Bilingual level English and Japanese is desired
