アカウンタント/ Accountant

An international automotive company is looking for an Accountant. The selected candidate will handle general ledger accounting under IFRS and JGAAP, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Track and follow up on receivable overdue/ageing
• Support miscellaneous invoicing processes
• Manage VAT declaration and reconciliation
• Handle transfer price adjustments with HQ and customs office
• Prepare annual tax filings and coordinate with tax agents for Local File preparation
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing procedures
• Reconcile related accounts and coordinate inter-company balance reconciliation
• Calculate and post Vehicle Processing Centre (VPC) costs
• Manage external and internal audit correspondence
• Support system launches and enhancements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting
• More than 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Prior GL Accounting experience
• Proficient in ERP SAP and Excel
• Strong knowledge of Japanese GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP
• Professional level Japanese; fluent level written and verbal English
