グローバルアカウントディレクター/ Global Account Director

A global transport and logistics company is looking for a Global Account Director. The selected candidate will drive strategic account growth, manage key relationships, and lead commercial and operational initiatives for high-value clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow profitability of key global accounts
• Develop and execute global account strategies and plans
• Leverage industry insights and data to enhance customer value propositions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead contract negotiations and identify growth opportunities within accounts
• Resolve commercial, operational, and contractual issues while driving performance improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 5–8 years of experience in freight forwarding, global logistics, or supply chain solutions
• Experience in a regional or global matrix organisation, collaborating across markets and divisions
• Background in global account management and execution of strategic customer lifecycle management
• Prior background acquiring and growing top-tier Japanese multinational accounts (regional or global scope is ideal)
• Proven background hunting and converting large-scale opportunities from Japanese HQs, not just account servicing
• Proficient in driving strategic account growth through consultative, value-based negotiation
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and steer complex end-to-end commercial engagements
• Ability and willingness to travel locally and overseas
• Native level Japanese and business level English
