営業マネージャー/ Sales Manager
A global specialty chemicals company is seeking a Sales Manager. The selected candidate will oversee business performance, drive sales growth, manage distributors, and execute strategic plans aligned with global objectives. This is a remote setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full P&L responsibility for the Japan & Korea Colour Solutions business
- Oversee distributor relationships to maximise sales efficiency
- Cultivate and expand relationships within key accounts to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Production, and Customer Service to ensure technical support and supply-chain excellence
- Conduct frequent travel within Japan and to Korea to engage new and existing accounts
- Perform competitive analysis and translate insights into growth strategies
- Lead customer trials and new-application projects from qualification to commercialisation
- Monitor performance versus targets and provide accurate forecasts
- Analyse market and customer data to inform product development decisions
- Develop sales plans and inventory requirements by customer and channel
- Drive demand forecasting accuracy within the monthly S&OP cycle
- Define and execute account-specific strategies for global and strategic customers
- Collaborate on annual budgeting and achieve finalised budget targets
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- More than 5 years of experience in pigments or specialty chemicals sales/business management in Japan or Korea
- Experience in matrixed, global organisations is preferred
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Deep understanding of Japanese business culture and relationship management
- Proficient in market research and financial modelling
- Familiarity with distribution channels in B2B chemical markets preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Fluent level Japanese; business level English (Korean or Chinese is a plus)
